Saturday May 4 @ 2.30pm

renewal of wedding vows service

Featuring wedding music with choir, readings, prayers and blessings.

An invitation to attend is extended to all couples (wherever married), those who have divorced or been widowed, plus those who are single, as there will be something for everyone.

The service will be followed by

  • ‘wine and cheese’ afternoon tea

  • wedding cake to be cut by the longest married couple in attendance

  • display of photos and memorabilia of weddings held at St James through the ages

150th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone Combined parish service

A Sung Eucharist with our Archbishop, the Most Rev’d Dr Phillip Aspinall, as Celebrant and Preacher.

The service will be followed by

  • morning tea in the Parish Centre

  • launch of the book about St James’ stained glass windows: Let Eternal Light Shine
