Join us as we consider the Mount of Transfiguration and the Mount of Olives as “bookends” to Jesus’ resolute journey to Jerusalem, and his arrest, trial and execution. In what way was the “mountain-top experience” of the Transfiguration a preparation for the agony which commenced in the garden? What do we carry from our own “mountain-top experiences” to sustain us in the darkest times?
Please come at 9.30 am for a cup of tea or coffee (optional) before we begin our exploration at 10 am. This morning will include two sessions of input, two sessions of quiet reflection and a final discussion and prayer.
What to bring:
• Bible
• Journal and pen
• Hat, and something to sit on if you would like to rest on the grass
